An Ornament in 4 Basic Steps – A HOW-TO

This is a quick visual guide to completing a trompe l’oeil ornament in 4 basic steps.  This is taken from a larger series on a panel Pierre did for the International event for decorative painters called SALON.  This particular gathering was in Hamburg, Germany and the theme was “the harbor”. Pierre Finkelstein of Pierre Finkelstein Institute of Decorative Painting shows you the basic steps to create this finish.
