Painting a Seagreen Marble Frame with the HV’ART Lacquer Paint System

Pierre Finkelstein demonstrates how to paint a Seagreen Marble Frame using the HV’Art Lacquer Paint System. Typically, faux marble finishes are completed in a 3-layer process; 1- background, 2- veining, 3- overglazing.

Watch Pierre Finkelstein of Grand Illusion Decorative Painting, Inc. demonstrate how to paint a Seagreen Marble frame using the HV’Art Lacquer Paint System.

In this topcoat system, he starts with Gesso Style Primer, followed by Decorative Canvas Basecoat; then creating his decorative finish by veining with Lacquer Glaze. He seals and protects his finish by varnishing the frame with the Crystal Lacquer (Gilt 60) topcoat. In this video, he demonstrates the first two layers in a 3 part Faux Marble layering technique.
